Elestial Sceptre
Elestial Sceptre
Skeletal Quartz, more often known as Elestial or Jacare Quartz, has unique internal and external dissolution-growth features which result from unstable conditions during crystalisation. The skeletal growth features form a geometric pattern of lines, depressions and raised terminations (related to the quartz crystal structure) etched into its surface. Internally, it exhibits plainly visible cavities in geometric patterns (also related to the quartz crystal structure) which contain clay, carbon dioxide and a water bubble. The cavities have a layered or ribbed effect, making the crystal appear almost hollow in parts - giving rise to the term skeletal quartz.

ImageThe translation for Elestial is "Crystal of the Angels" and it has a strong link with the angelic realm.

From a metaphysical perspective, smoky quartz strengthens dream awareness and chanelling - it is also an excellent protection stone. You can retrieve information stored in Elestials by running your hands over the etchings - like reading Braille. Elestials are also often used be couples who want to "soul connect".

Image They will strip away a lot of rubbish and get to the truth - digging down to the oldest pains and fears, deepest memories and strongest bonds - raising them to the surface for healing or to access for your growth.

Image Elestials heal from a place where emotion doesn't exist or interfere - which enables you to deal with those deeply held and painful issues without the emotional pain that usually goes with raising these things. It also stops the common "loopback" where you raise a painful issue and supress it again because its too painful to deal with - thereby making it progressively harder and more scarey to deal with.

AmmoliteAmmolite is Canada's gemstone. It is extremely rare and beautiful - with iridescent colours glowing with the colours of the rainbow.

Millions of years of tectonic pressure created this beautiful gem from the fossilised remains of the ammonite shell.

On average, ammolite is considered to be around 70 million yeras old.

Ammolite was apparently originally discovered by the Blackfoot Native Americans in an area bordering the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Legends tell of a Blackfoot woman who discovered the stone after a dream. It had been a bad winter and the buffalo had disappeared - the tribe were starving. While searching for firewood in the deep snow, she heard beautiful singing and followed the voice to an Ammolite stone. The stone told her it was powerful medicine and if she took it back to the tribe it would provide food for the Blackfoot.

She did this and next morning a large herd of buffalo appeared outside the camp. After that, the Blackfoot used it as a stone of good luck and abundance.
